Files that are uploaded to the presentation (also known as  web boards or image boards) are stored on our file repository server. Overwriting these files does not delete them, and anyone with the link can view them.

If you or your guests are planning on sharing sensitive material, we would recommend using Virbela's screen share functionality from a web board, displaying the document from your screen instead.

To request the deletion of a file that has been uploaded, please send the link to the file to help@virbela.com. Please note that the back button (left arrow on a web board) can be used to navigate back to a previously uploaded file in some cases. You may find it useful to either use the bookmark function in-world (star icon on a web board) or to make note of material you would possibly want to delete in the future. 

While images uploaded to an image board are converted into links, an image board does not have the functionality to bookmark or go back to previously uploaded files. In this case, the newly uploaded file replaces the previous one.

In the event that the link to a file you wish to delete is missing (possibly due to new files being uploaded or you navigated to another website), please provide the name of the person who uploaded the file, as well as its approximate date and time.
