Live Captions & Live Translate

Google Chrome is the recommended browser for using Virbela Go. Thanks to Chrome's robust accessibility features, users can leverage some fantastic accessibility tools. 

Live Captions:

To turn on Live Caption, type chrome://settings/accessibility into the address bar of Google Chrome. From here, toggle on ‘Live Caption'. After refreshing Virbela Go, live captions will be applied to the environment when anyone speaks.


Live Translate: 

To turn on Live Translate, type chrome://settings/accessibility into the address bar of Google Chrome. From here, toggle on the ‘Live Translate’ feature. After refreshing the Virbela Go tab, translations will be applied to the live captions. 

Screen Reader Compatibility

In addition, the Virbela Team has been working to make Virbela Go accessible for all and is happy to announce screen reader compatibility with Windows Screen Reader and NVDA. If you use a different screen reader and are having trouble with Virbela Go, please let us know so we can perform additional testing.
